Little Laureate believes that art is a powerful teaching tool, as well as a way for
children to relate to experiences outside of their own.
My World Adventure features artwork from around the world, from Old Masters to living aboriginal artists including
2000-year old Egyptian hieroglyphs and illustrations from ancient Syrian fables.
The Benefits of Art
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services believes that the
introduction of the arts at an early age helps young children learn
basic academic concepts as well as life skills such as
self-confidence, concentration, problem-solving, gross and fine
motor control, and conceptual and verbal skills. Adding an
interactive arts program, such as For the Love of Art, to a
child’s educational influence at home can provide early motivation
and enthusiasm for learning.
